The following information can be imported from CSV / Excel spreadsheet:

Product SKU (required)
Name (required for new products only)
Price (Price Net, Cost Price)
Quantity
Full Description
Weight
Brand
Short Description
Minimum Quantity
Display Online
Sell Online
Include in Search Results
SEO Title
SEO Description
SEO Keywords
Image URLs (up to 5)
Categories (up to 10)
Related Products (up to 10)
Alternative Products (up to 10)
Product Options (up to 5)
Custom Attributes (up to 10)

Notes:

1. Categories

Use '/' to separate parent and child categories, e.g. Parent Category/SubCategory, and '//' to indicate '/' char in a category name, e.g. Music/AC//DC.

2. Product Images

Supported protocols are http:// or https://. Supported image types are JPEG (.jpg), PNG (.png) and GIF (.gif).

If an image URL contains spaces (for example
http://test.com/images/Sony Bravia.jpg  or  http://test.com/my images/Samsung.jpg) in the CSV file, each space should be replaced by %20.
So our examples would become
 http://test.com/images/Sony%20Bravia.jpg  and  http://test.com/my%20images/Samsung.jpg.

Each image attribute (Image 1 URL, Image 2 URL,.., Image 5 URL) corresponds to the appropriate image placeholder (1st, 2nd, .., 5th). If one of the image attributes is not mapped, that means the corresponding image placeholder will be ignored during import. Where this is the case and there is an empty placeholder between some non-empty ones, an image will be shifted to the nearest empty placeholder available before it.
Max number of images that can be added to a product or updated during import is 5.

If you import product images from another shop hosted on Powa, please make sure you use PowaWEB's default domain name (ending with .site.powa.com) in the image source URL in CSV file.

If you need to delete already imported product image(s), please enter a space in the corresponding column in the CSV file and check the 'Update existing Products with CSV Product Data' check box. A space will overwrite the existing product image(s) once the CSV import is complete.

3. Custom Product SEO information

If all SEO attributes are mapped and their values are empty, the "Set Custom Product SEO Information" check box will be unticked for a product.
If not all SEO attributes are mapped during import and at least for one of the mapped attributes value is empty, the system will check the resulting status of each SEO attribute (empty/non-empty) after import and decide whether the "Set Custom Product SEO Information" check box should be ticked or unticked.
If at least one SEO attribute is mapped during import and its value is not empty, the "Set Custom Product SEO Information" check box will be ticked for a product.

4. Product Options

Expected format is (*):
for choice list options - {"required": "Yes", "choices": [{"sku": "scb","value": "Blue","quantity": "7","priceNet": "0.99"}, {"sku": "scw","value": "White","quantity": "3","priceNet": "0.99"}], "type": "ChoiceList", "optionName": "Colour"}
for information box options - {"required": "Yes", "defaultText": "Please enter the text here", "type": "InfoBox", "optionName": "Message to be delivered" }
for check box options - {"priceNet": "1.00", "type": "CheckBox", "optionName": "Gift Wrapping"}

(*) - this is the expected format if you work in Excel, but if you work in Notepad (or another text file editor), additional double quotes will appear. See How can I export my product catalogue? for more information.

If there are any other attributes & values, that are not present in the expected format, they will be ignored.

Each option attribute (Option 1, Option 2,.., Option 5) corresponds to the appropriate position in the grid with product options(1st, 2nd, .., 5th). If one of the option attributes is not mapped, this means the corresponding attribute position will be ignored during import. In cases where there is an empty line between some non-empty ones, an option will be shifted to the nearest empty line available before it. Duplicated options (with the same name) will be removed.
Max number of product options that can be added to a product or updated during import is 5.

5. Custom Product Attributes

Expected format is (*): {"name": "Genre","value": "Rock", "display": "Yes" }

(*) - this is the expected format if you work in Excel, but if you work in Notepad (or another text file editor), the format will differ slightly. See How can I export my product catalogue? for more information.

If there are any other attributes & values that are not present in the expected format, they will be ignored.

Each custom attribute (Attribute 1, Attribute 2,.., Attribute 10) corresponds to the appropriate position in the grid with custom attributes(1st, 2nd, .., 10th). If one of the custom attributes is not mapped, this means the corresponding attribute position will be ignored during import. In cases where there is an empty line between some non-empty ones, an attribute will be shifted to the nearest empty line available before it. Duplicated custom attributes (with the same name) will be removed.

Max number of custom attributes that can be added to a product or updated during import is 10.

6. Alternative/Related Products

Expected format is a product's SKU.
Each related/alternative product attribute (Product 1, Product 2,.., Product 10) corresponds to the appropriate position in the grid with related/alternative products(1st, 2nd, .., 10th). If one of the product attributes is not mapped, this means the corresponding product position will be ignored during import. In cases where there is an empty line between some non-empty ones, a product will be shifted to the nearest empty line available before it.
Max number of related or alternative products of either type that can be assigned to a product or updated during import is 10.

7. Price

The expected format is: "x.|x|", ".|x|", "x", "x.", "x,|x|", ",|x|", "x", "x," , where |x| is a several digits decimal part.
In case when imported price value has more than 2 digits in the decimal part, the value is rounded to 2 decimal digits according to the ''Always round down' rounding rule.

Min value is 0.00, max value is 10 000 000.00

8. Product Weight

Expected format is: "x.|x|", ".|x|", "x", "x.", "x,|x|", ",|x|", "x", "x," , where |x| is a several digits of the decimal part.
In cases where the imported weight value has more than 3 decimal digits, it will be rounded to 3 decimal digits according to the ''Always round down' rounding rule.

Min value is 0.000, max value is 10 000.000

9. Quantity

Min value is -1 000 000, max value is 1 000 000

10. Min Quantity

Min value is 1, max value is 1 000 000
