Advice on how to retain existing Google organic search results rank when switching to our Swifty Platform

Reference: Advice on how to retain existing Google organic search results rank when switching to our Swifty platform

Our Swifty platform has excellent SEO capabilities as standard. Many of our shop owners achieve page one results on their chosen keywords. There is every chance that changing to our system will have no impact on your site indexing, but we cannot guarantee this. This is because of the way search engines index sites and the way they index them is based on the current URL and links to that URL, which all act as 'votes' for that specific URL. When a URL changes, this may have an impact.

If you don't wish to lose your current google organic search results rank, you should use a 301 redirect as recommended by Google.

EXISTING DOMAIN -> 301 REDIRECT FORWARDS VISITOR TO -> NEW POWA REGISTERED DOMAIN NAME

In order to achieve this, you would need to register a separate domain name through the Swifty Dashboard. Therefore the 301redirect would be placed on your existing domain name to automatically redirect visitors to a new domain name registered through Swifty. Overtime, the new domain name will achieve its own good rankings in Google, and at the appropriate time it may prove prudent for you to add the existing domain name as a registered domain name to the Powa Dashboard, and remove the 301 redirect.
